Fees for our Services
Spruce Mountain Inn offers extensive high-quality and comprehensive services at very competitive costs. Our fee structure is designed to reflect the intensity of services we provide with a move toward lower levels of service as the client progresses.
Program Participants are generally admitted to our Residential Program to begin their treatment here. If more intensive services are required, one might be admitted to our Sub-Acute Program. After completing the Residential Program, participants may be ready for an on-site apartment (Annex) or our off-site Greatwood Lodge. When clients make the transition to our Off-Site Independent Living Program, either at Greatwood Lodge or a community-based apartment, the fees are significantly reduced.

Independent Living Programs
"Annex" Program:
The "Annex" is on Spruce Mountain Inn grounds and holds three efficiency apartments. These apartments afford an opportunity toward greater independence for those not ready for an off-site living arrangement. Annex dwellers pay the same fees as for Inn residence and are entitled to all programming, meals, etc. as those at the Inn.
Greatwood Lodge Program:
Greatwood Lodge is a group living arrangement monitored by Spruce Mountain Inn for participants who can demonstrate readiness to move from the Residence or On-Site Apartment Program to a more independent living situation. Fees include rent and utilities. Treatment costs vary due to the individualized nature of this program. They are billed on a fee-for-service basis as one monthly fee unit.
Off-site Apartment Programs:
Clients live in their own apartment or home nearby and come to Spruce Mountain Inn for their treatment services. Treatment costs associated with living in monitored, off-site apartments are assessed individually on a fee-for-service basis, and billed as one monthly fee unit.
Billing and Deposit Requirements
Billing:
All program fees are billed in advance. After admission, billing occurs on the 15th of each month with payment due by the 5th day of the next month. Initially we require the deposit (see below) plus treatment for the remainder of month of admission. Future months are billed in advance. Some insurance and/or managed-care companies reimburse us for the treatment services we provide. They include: Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, ComPsych, OptumHealth and ValueOptions. Because insurance companies generally cover only for a short time, if at all, please discuss your specific situation with us. Medicare and Medicaid do not cover the costs of our treatment services.
Deposit:
A $4,500 deposit is required and is due at the time of admission. This deposit will be refunded upon completion of the stay and final settlement of your account, per the payment policy document which is part of the required admission documents.
Program Absences:
A resident on temporary leave from any of our programs will be required to pay the fees, in full, to ensure continued participation upon his or her return.
