  • Community based continuum of treatment. As clients make progress, they take on greater levels of independence and the intensity of services is reduced.
  • Comprehensive treatment. We offer a balance of therapeutic/psychiatric intervention, vocational development, substance abuse treatment and skills training in the context of a supportive community
  • High level of structure. Initially, a client's day is structured with a variety of therapeutic groups and activities. Later, days include internships, classes and/or competitive work placements in the community in addition to treatment components.
  • Multi-disciplinary treatment team. A case manager, psychotherapist, support worker, vocational coordinator and psychiatrist each meet with program participants to work on specific treatment goals. Substance abuse treatment is included for individuals with co-occurring disorders.
Client Profile: Someone who may benefit from the kind of structured treatment setting we provide has several of the following characteristics:
  • Serious psychiatric problem affecting mood, thinking and/or the ability to manage stress
  • Difficulty maintaining healthy relationships
  • Difficulty managing daily affairs and time
  • An addiction or related symptoms: substance abuse problems, compulsive behaviors or eating disorder
  • Goals which include independent living, school and/or work
